In Washington State, there are 300,000 children living in poverty.
This Holiday season we think about a few things – Family, Friends, Rockaholics, and those who may not be as fortunate. So we’ve partnered with Washington State Council of Firefighters to help. Winter is here, and nearly 300,000 children in Washington State live in poverty, but for just a few bucks we can give a kid a brand new coat!
We’re asking you to join with us and your local Fire Fighters to provide 5,000 new winter coats to children in need.
Rockaholics, lets take a moment during the holidays and think of the well being of the children in our community. A new, warm coat for a local kid is just $34.00. It not only gives that kid warmth, it boosts their self esteem, and helps their families use their limited funds for other basic needs like food and shelter.
Donations are used to provide winter coats to at-risk children and for other philanthropic endeavors and costs supporting the charitable giving program.
You may also donate by check, made payable to Operation Warm. Please mail your check to: Operation Warm, P.O. Box 822431, Philadelphia, PA 19182-2431. Indicate on your check or a note that you would like your donation credited to the Washington State Council of Firefighters.
